I have established TaxMasters NZ Ltd as a Hobsonville-based affiliate branch of Armstrong Hotchin & Co Accountants of Takapuna.

I moved into the Hobsonville area 18 months ago and am already well-acquainted with the local cafes, restaurants and dog-walks.

I bring over 30 years' experience in small and medium business accounting and taxation services .

After earning my degree in Economics/Accounting/Commercial Law from Auckland University a million years ago, I trained in BDO and gained experience in a couple of other Auckland firms before branching out on my own. In the 1990s I operated from High Street in the city, West Auckland, Devonport and Waiheke Island and maintain a good many of those client relationships still. While in High Street I formed a joint venture with a Family Trust specialist - this became Armstrong Sinkinson & Associates, our accounting firm based in Takapuna. After his retirement, I joined with another ex-BDO accountant to form Armstrong Hotchin & Co.
